Roma in new blast at Man Utd over Petrucci swoop

Roma chief Bruno Conti has taken a new swipe at Manchester United over their deal for youngster Davide Petrucci.
"Our coach at the time, Luciano Spalletti, called Sir Alex Ferguson when he got wind of the Petrucci move and asked him to put a stop to it," Conti told the Mail on Sunday.
"Ferguson said he would see what he could do. But we heard nothing.
"United are still behaving in this way. It is not sport and it is no way for Sir Alex Ferguson, one of the game's great leaders, to conduct himself.
"We invest a lot in these young players in time, education and money. The law still allows them to do that but UEFA president Michel Platini is already in talks with the Italian FA to look at ways to eliminate this."

The may be trouble ahead for Man Utd - Unfortunately it is too late for Roma to pipe up now, make a complaint, and hope for sanctions.
However, the case over Paul Pogba from Le Harve could be interesting.. If some of their actions can be proven unethical, against the law, outside of jurisdiction with their behaviour towards Le Harve.. then.. then..
THEY MUST BE PUNISHED WITH SIMILAR FEROCITY IN THE WAY THAT CHELSEA HAVE BEEN..

roma have never cheated, and were the only team of the "big four" not to have been alleged cheaters
you guys are all wrong, the problem with the system is that in italy, france, and spain minors can't be given a professional contract. I know for a fact that in this case, petrucci was earning the highest wages that he was allowed to by law in italy, but when Man united come along and offer him a proffessional contract, jobs for both of his parents, a couple of cars, and an awesome house his parents make the decision for him to go to Man united. Another problem with this petrucci case is that he repeatedly said he didn't want to go, but his parents are poor so they happily said yes. This is the exact same case with what man united did with pique. They got him for no money, then sold him back to barca for 10 million.
And there is a huge difference with Messi, Messi and his parents wanted to leave for barca. Lastly, messi was offered to barca by a team he played for. End of story.... pls try to look up facts before posting non sense
