Roma director Conti: Ferguson should know better

Roma director Bruno Conti wants a clamp down on clubs who consistently poach young talent.

Conti is particularly infuriated with Manchester United's behaviour after they took 16-year-old David Petrucci from the Giallorossi in July 2008.

"Our coach at the time, Luciano Spalletti, called Sir Alex Ferguson when he got wind of the Petrucci move and asked him to put a stop to it," Conti said in The Mail on Sunday.

"Ferguson said he would see what he could do. But we heard nothing.

"United are still behaving in this way. It is not sport and it is no way for Sir Alex Ferguson, one of the game's great leaders, to conduct himself.

"We invest a lot in these young players in time, education and money. The law still allows them to do that but Uefa president Michel Platini is already in talks with the Italian FA to look at ways to eliminate this."

I found another piece of information for you Mr Frontal Lobotomy. You claim Messi had an Italien passport? Then why could he not play in the Barcelona first team in La Liga until he had secured a Spanish passport (as stated on his own official website).

Guess what... He was an Argentine with NO european passport, meaning Barcelona couldn't play him due to the 3 none EU player rule, at the time these three places were filled with Marquez, Ronaldinho and Eto'o! Exactly the same situation as with Giovani dos Santos too.

Listen Italian Clubs are a scandal and should be the last ones pointing finger at anyone else. They have raped poor African nations for decades and their behaviour in dealing with payment of transfer fees is unprofessional Mr Conti, do you remember that FIFA suspended AS ROma from conducting any transfers until all monies owed by Roma to Clubs in Europe were paid? Remember the Mexes transfer???

As someone of Italian descent I say Italian Football Clubs (barring Juve and AC Milan) are a disgrace.

Sir Alex and United at least treat people in a professional manner. As an Agent let me say when you do a deal in the UK everything is documented and when it comes to paying Clubs, players and Agents, the UK Clubs are precise and professional. Italian Clubs are untrustworthy, do not document contracts whereever they can get away with it and treat everybody with contempt.

Michel Platini was lucky he played for the most professional Club in the world at the time he was in Italy with Juventus. But i am sure he knows what the real truth is behind Italian football is and would shudder at the thought of what corruption and dirty dealins UEFA will find. If Chelsea and Man United are in trouble, God help Italy.

Sir purple nose.. sigh wat a douchebag
