AS Roma’s Riise eyeing MLS

AS Roma left-back John Arne Riise has admitted he would love to play MLS.

The 29-year old Norway international is contracted to the Italian club until at least 2012 but says he would one day definitely consider paying professionally in the USA.

"I would just like to play there, that's really a dream of mine," he told Norwegian daily VG Nett.

Riise kicked off his career with homeland club Aalesund in 1998 before moving to France to join Monaco in the same year.

He then moved on to England to join Liverpool where he spent about seven years and making his name as one of the world’s best left-backs.
