Roma’s Ranieri not fearing Bayern Munich

AS Roma boss Claudio Ranieri says he does not fear German giants Bayern Munich ahead of tonight’s Champions League clash.

AS Roma boss Claudio Ranieri says he does not fear German giants Bayern Munich ahead of tonight’s Champions League clash.

The Giallorossi take on Bayern at the Allianz Arena in their opening group stage match and Ranieri is confident they can bounce back from their 5-1 league defeat to Cagliari on the weekend.

“We are Roma and we’re looking for a result in Munich. Bayern are very strong, but so are we and Roma can do well anywhere. We must fear nobody,” he said.

“We’ve got to keep clear heads and getting a good result could be crucial for our campaign. It’s only the first match, but Bayern are slightly above the others in this group.”
