Arjen Robben is backing Rafael van der Vaart to have a huge impact with Tottenham.
Robben, a Dutch team-mate of Rafael van der Vaart, believes Spurs have bridged the gap between Arsenal with their signing of the midfielder from Real Madrid.
Bayern Munich star Robben said: "Before Rafa signed, I’d still have had Arsenal down as the stronger team - but now I don’t think there is anything between them.
"With Rafa on board, Spurs really do have one of the very best midfield players in the Premier League, maybe even the best."

Robben didn't say 'superior' as mischievously suggested in the title of this article so chillax people!
@ Arse
You were too late with Stekelenburg, you should've tried to get him before AJAX played CL. Since they qualified Stekelenburg would only be able to play EPL & cups in England, no CL with Arsenal. Wenger was too slow and missed out on 1 of the best keepers in the world. I dare to say he made me forget all about VanDerSar at the world cup, that's pure class.
Nope, Stekelenburg didn't want to go. as for VDV he only got cheap in the last hour, Bayern almost had a deal for van der vaart for 24 milion, but it collapsed and after that he was 8 mil.
