Redknapp desperate for Defoe’s Tottenham return

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is desperate for the strike Jermain Defoe to return from injury and give his side a lift.

He said: "We have missed Defoe's goals. I am sure he would have five or six already, which makes a massive difference. We miss the little fellow."

Without Rafael Van der Vaart and Aaron Lennon, who both had hamstring injuries, Redknapp saw his side fail to build on the glorious Champions League victory in midweek against holders Inter Milan and lose 4-2 at Bolton on Saturday.
