Real Zaragoza striker Uche suffers knee injury

Real Zaragoza striker Ikechukwu Uche has suffered a new knee injury.

Uche sustained the injury on Saturday during the last few minutes of the friendly against Deportivo Alaves and underwent medical tests today.

It is the latest blow for the 26-year-old Nigerian, who tore ligaments in the same knee last September, in only his second appearance for Zaragoza after joining from Getafe in the summer.

Uche will travel to Gijon on Wednesday, where he will be examined by the same doctor who operated on the player last year.

It is likely he will be sidelined for at least two months.
