Real Madrid star Kaka was struck by a missile thrown from the stands at Atletico Madrid on Saturday.

Marca says local TV show Kaka being hit by a lighter as he celebrated an early goal scored by Real at the Vicente Calderon.

This revelation comes after the game was stopped midway through the second-half for Real coach Manuel Pellegrini to receive treatment after he had been struck by a foreign object.
