Real Madrid president Florentino: Messi second best in world behind Ronaldo

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez says they do not need to buy Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

Perez rates Real's Cristiano Ronaldo the better player and can't see the pair of them being successful in the same team.

"Messi is the second best player in the world after Cristiano," said Perez. "It would not be nice to have them both on the same team, there would be too much competition."
