Real Madrid president Florentino: HUMILIATION
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez admits their 4-0 Copa defeat at the hands of Alcorcon was a "humiliation".
Real face being bounced out of the Copa del Rey by the little village team after their first-leg thrashing on Tuesday night.
Perez said: "I'll tell you that it is very humiliating defeat, Real Madrid is not so big that it should be above these things. I insist that we have great players and that the results will come in time as everyone is waiting.
"Alcorcón played better than us and there remains only to congratulate them. However, in 2000 we were eliminated by Toledo in the Copa and ended up winning the league that season."
On coach Manuel Pellegrini, he added: "In the same way that many players are new, also is the coach. The coach has a different plan from last year and what we need is time and calmness. If we start to rush, we will get nervous and we'll get things wrong."
