Real Madrid GM Valdano: Failure not to reach Champions League final

Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano has thrown down the gauntlet to coach Manuel Pellegrini.

"It would be a failure not to reach the final of the Champions League," said Valdano.

"I have concerns about how long it will take to form a harmonious squad, when we are a true team. There have been many new faces, but there have been fewer casualties.

"We hope in the coming days to add someone for the coach that will accompany the group during the entire season.

"Buying and selling is very complicated at the moment. We have come with a lot of determination and have been able to buy very important players, but it is the most unpleasant, that is to sell players who had the dream to continue at Real Madrid."

I wonder what Real madrid really wants from Christiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo must have been tied by now even before getting to the pitch to play come next season.The message had been silently passed to christiano Ronaldo that''to whom much is given much is expected''I wish him the best in the coming season.
