Real Madrid coach Mourinho tells Canales he will stay

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho will be counting on Sergio Canales next season.

There was talk that Canales would be loaned back to Racing Santander, with the youngster having signed for Real in the closing months of last season.

However, Mourinho has met with Canales and told him he is a required player.

The new Real boss sees Canales, 18, as a replacement for Guti and will seek to accelerate his first team promotion in the opening weeks of the new campaign.

Good Replacement for Guti. Real Madrid must start to look at younger players.

Canales is a perfect Guti replacement.
