Real Madrid coach Mourinho: Sneijder deserves Ballon d’Or

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho says Inter Milan ace Wesley Sneijder deserves this year's Ballon d'Or.

Sneijder won the Treble last season with Mourinho at Inter and also reached the World Cup final as part of Holland's team.

Mourinho said: “I would give it to Sneijder before I give it to Iniesta. He is not a better player, but he played in the final of the World Cup and Champions League and completed the full season.

“Iniesta had a great World Cup but did not shine during the season. For me, second place should be Xavi.”

knowing that FIFA rates the WC higher than the CL they might finally hand it to Xavi, as this one is the WC winner, although It's obvious that Sneijer still has an advantage knowing that he's the european champion AND the WC finalist. Overall Sneijder deserves it more than anyone for the way he leaded both hi national team and club to the final games in the 2 most important competitions in world football.

as for the Farkelona fan who says that Inter victory is undeserved ... hehe... come on, make me laugh ! you're a true comedian you know ? why undeserved ? ah... just coz they kicked your beloved shit team's ass ?! bad losers... what the ***** you think you are ? a little club that will keep being so. at least accept defeats with fair play and people might give you some respect.
I'm sure that Farkelona clowns will come out and say the exact same thing when Mourinho kicks their ***** ass in la Liga this season.

Best player was Sneijder. Iniesta is crap forget about him. Xavi is bad too just short passes no creativity at all. Give runners up to Ozil for his season and world cup and for making Barca think he wanted to join them
