Real Madrid boss Mourinho working with Blanc to get best from Benzema

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has held talks with France coach Laurent Blanc about his striker Karim Benzema.

After their Champions League win over Auxerre, Mourinho talked with Blanc about the striker and how he can improve.

Mourinho, who has criticised Benzema in the past for not giving enough during training sessions, told Canal+: "I am talking a lot about Karim with Laurent. We both believe he has huge qualities.

"But maybe he needs to play with more ambition."
