Real Madrid boss Mourinho willing to pay £30M for Liverpool captain Gerrard

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is determined to land Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.

The Daily Star says Mourinho made it clear his No.1 target is Liverpool skipper Gerrard, who he tried to sign twice before while he was Chelsea boss.

The 30-year-old has refused to talk about his future while he is at the World Cup, but the time it is taking to re- place Anfield boss Rafa Benitez has left Gerrard considering his future.

Mourinho is happy to spend at least £30m on the England captain, and the offers will be made as soon as England exit the World Cup.
