Real Madrid attacker van der Vaart says no to England move

Real Madrid attacker Rafael van der Vaart has said no to a potential move to England.

The Dutchman was believed to be the subject of a move to either Liverpool or Chelsea, possibly in a player exchange deal, but he has put those claims to bed saying he is determined to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu.

“I'm determined to stay at Real Madrid," van der Vaart told De Telegraaf.

"I want to stay here and succeed at Real. It's a shame that the English press has misquoted me. They've written things that are simply not true."
