Real Madrid’s Xabi tells Liverpool to get over his sale

Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso has told former Liverpool teammates to get over his departure.
Kop skipper Steven Gerrard branded midfielder Alonso, 27, one of the world's best players.
He said the Spain star's £28.8million move to Real Madrid left him gutted as he is now isolated on the pitch.
Alonso said: "I want to thank Stevie for his kind words but life goes on. It's logical I miss Liverpool. I lived there five years and saw what football means to the supporters.
"I've still got friends there. It was an unforgettable experience and I'll always have the club in my heart.
"But I'm so happy at Real Madrid and I hope to do some important things here."
