Real Betis sending Pavone to River Plate

Real Betis are sending Mariano Pavone back to Argentina.

Pavone will join River Plate on a season-long loan for a fee of £400,000.

Agent Fernando Hidalgo said: "First thing [yesterday], I spoke with the Betis directors and we sorted out one or two of the things that still needed to be arranged.

"As long as nothing unforeseen happens everything will be completely agreed."
