Roma coach Claudio Ranieri blasted Inter Milan midfielder Patrick Vieira for his clash with Daniele de Rossi yesterday.

Italy midfielder De Rossi was left with a fractured cheekbone after last night's bitter 1-1 draw at the San Siro.

Ranieri rapped: “Thanks to [Patrick] Vieira, De Rossi needs surgery. He often jumps with his elbows raised, but in England he would get sent off for that.”
