Racing Santander's Luis Garcia surprised by Garcia Pitarch "regret" comments

Racing Santander attacker Luis Garcia admits he was surprised by the criticism from Atletico Madrid sports chief Jesus Garcia Pitarch.

Pitarch admitted last week that his signing of the former Liverpool favourite was the one deal he most regretted.

"I do not understand this," said Garcia. "I lived and worked with him. He was the one who signed me, if he had those thoughts, he didn't say it to me. I do not give this much importance."
