Queensland Roar to be officially known as Brisbane

Queensland Roar will now officially be known as the Brisbane Roar.

The northern state’s foundation A-League club have rebranded themselves now that two other Queensland teams will be in action this upcoming season.

With the addition of North Queensland Fury and Gold Coast United, the Roar decided they would no longer have to represent the entire state and would change their name to coincide with their home base.
