Lazio training was interrupted on Tuesday by a supporter protest.

Around 1,000 supporters were estimated to be there for the protest, though just over a hundred pushed their way on to the pitch.

They broke down a security gate and the players were ushered back into the gym to continue their training.

Police used a baton charge to repel the fans, who were throwing rocks and fireworks, leading to three injuries requiring hospital treatment and five arrests.
