Portsmouth are weighing up a £6million move for Dutch international midfielder Orlando Engelaar.

Engelaar, who plays in the Bundesliga for Schalke, is seen by Pompey boss Tony Adams as a replacement for Lassana Diarra who is coveted by Real Madrid and Manchester City.
