Portsmouth boss Hart set to feel wrath of new owners
Portsmouth manager Paul Hart is facing the axe as new club owner Ali Al-Faraj is planning a overhaul of the club.
The new billionaire Pompey owner is planning to push the south coast club up the Premier League table after a horror start that saw seven-straight losses.
Al-Faraj’s lawyer Mark Jacob said there would be a fair investment into making the club push forward.
"There is going to be substantial investment,” he said.
"We were ready to invest and push things forward six weeks ago so that was a missed opportunity.
"However, there will be funds available in January to ensure we are not at the wrong end of the table come the end of the season."
Names that have been bandied around to be Hart’s potential replacement include Gordon Strachan, Alan Curbishley, Roberto Mancini and Avram Grant.
