Portsmouth boss Grant rejected Hull City approach

Portsmouth boss Avram Grant was approached by Hull City about the vacant manager’s job.
The Tigers have been turned down by several top names this week as they sought to replace Phil Brown.
The Times says Grant, whose Portsmouth side host Hull on Saturday, was also approached but was reluctant to leave Portsmouth, despite the difficult circumstances he finds himself in at Fratton Park.
Iain Dowie is expected to be named Tigers manager today.
