Portsmouth administrator Andrew Andronikou anticipates that there could be some 'surprise' revelations regarding the club's transfer dealings.
There have been claims that some of the transfer fees reported in the media over Pompey's recent agreements may have been exaggerated.
He told the Spirit Sport podcast: "I am not really any closer to getting to the bottom of that.
"I have looked at one or two transactions. The media is great at sensationalising transfers.
"The larger the fee paid, or the alleged fee, the better the story.
"We will see what comes out in the next few weeks, you might be surprised on some of the transfers that were reported by the press.
"I think the best way forward for clubs is the undisclosed route."
