Portsmouth administrator Andrew Andronikou believes more Premiership clubs could follow them into administration.
Andronikou has pointed to the club's 'imbalance' regarding their income and expenditure as the primary reason for their plight.
And he believes that further top-flight sides could face the same troubles in the future.
Andronikou told the Spirit Sport podcast: "Yes, I am surprised at the extent of the liability and the extent of the problems.
"I don't believe this will be the last (club to go into administration). I feel there are a lot of problems all over the league.
"At this club particularly there has been a complete imbalance in terms of revenue and overhead costs."
