Plymouth avoid winding-up order
Plymouth have issued a statement after confirming a winding-up order issued against the club was dropped by the High Court on Wednesday morning.
The club had initially been issued with the order by HMRC, and they are now glad they can move on from the ordeal.
A statement on the club's official website read: "As expected Revenue and Customs withdrew their action.
"We now look forward to building on our exciting new signings and the retention of our key players to improve our league position.
"We hope that the people of Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall will get behind (boss) Paul Mariner and his squad and come out in numbers to support Paul and the boys, starting with this weekend's enticing home match against West Bromwich Albion."
