Pique: Valencia's Villa very welcome at Barcelona

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique believes Valencia striker David Villa would be an ideal signing for the Treble champs.

"David would bring many years of playing at a high level and when you hear his name you just think goals," said Pique.

"He is a great person and would not unsettle the dressing room at all."

Meanwhile, Pique welcomed goalkeeper Victor Valdes signing his new five-year contract.

"He will be the goalkeeper of Barcelona for many more years because he has all the qualities needed," said Pique. "His decision to stay is important for the squad and the club."
