The Glory dominated much of the contest but could not finish off their good work up the pitch and force a winning goal.

Sydney had to sit back and try to weather the storm but did manage to have some chances of their own, the best coming from youngster Chris Payne at the death but he could not find the back of the net.

Perth won the ball in the air at will and veteran Jamie Harnwell and defender Jamie Coyne were dangerous in the penalty box from their 15 corners but could not make the most of their side’s dominance.

The point from the draw kept Perth in sixth position on the table whilst Sydney went four points clear on top.
