Palermo striker Abel Hernandez hopes his side can bounce back from their disappointing league start when they meet Sparta Prague in Europe tonight.

The Rosanero have experienced a horror beginning to their Serie A campaign with a scoreless draw with Cagliari and a 3-2 loss to Brescia but the 20-year old Uruguayan is looking for much-improved showing against their Czech opponents in the Europa League in Prague.

“We have struggled in the domestic campaign so far," said Hernandez. "We know we need to improve in every aspect of our game.

"We will try to change the trend in our next games. A win in Prague could be the turning point for us.

“We have the right players to do well. It will be crucial to take small steps, focusing on each game in order to go through to the next round.

"I am certain we will go far in this competition."
