Palacios happy to be compared with Spurs favourite Roberts

Wilson Palacios is pleased with the praise heaped on him by Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp.

Palacios' style has led to Redknapp comparing the midfielder to Spurs legend Graham Roberts.

The former Wigan ace said: "It really makes me happy that the manager speaks about me in that way, comparing me with a player who worked so hard for the good of the team."

Wilson has a long way yet to be a new Graham Roberts, that man was a true Spurs Legend. He maybe good but Roberts gave everything to Spurs, he was great at the back and just as good going forward. And attackers always new they had been in a battle after playing against him. I wish we had Roberts at his peak now days, alongside Ledley and Woodgate {when fit lol} With Wilson what a defence that would be.
