Chelsea striker Didier Drogba believes the players work with former manager Guus Hiddink will hold them in good stead for the upcoming season.
The Blues worked tirelessly on their fitness under the Dutchman and Drogba can see the lasting affect it has had on the current squad.
"Our fitness is partly due to the fact that last season we finished strong. We worked hard with Guus and now we are at the same level of fitness,” Drogba said.
"We are trying to improve our level of fitness in order to be better in the new system, which is not easy for us to play."
