O’Connor tipped for April return for Birmingham

Birmingham City striker Grry O’Connor is tipped to return this season but it may not be until April according to manager Alex McLeish.

The 26-year old Scotland international has been out with a groin injury and although he has been keeping himself occupied in the gym, he is not expected to return to action until sometime next month.

“He is still doing his rehab,” McLeish said.

"He's looking like the incredible hulk, with the stuff he's done in the gym. He's certainly got a lot of work to do in terms of his running.

"He may be back before the end of the season, but it's going to be late in the day, the middle of April perhaps."
