Nth Qld boss Ferguson runs rule over Melbourne Knights captain Elvin

Melbourne Knights captain Craig Elvin is up in Townsville with North Queensland Fury this week.

Elvin was invited by Fury boss Ferguson as the former Glasgow Rangers star keeps searching for more players to add to his inaugural A-League squad.

Winless after 3 games, the Fury travel to Adelaide this week and are determined to open their account as soon as possible.

Elvin is a no-nonsense defender and finished off a great season in the Victorian Premier League.

Fury are also keen to look at former West Ham and Sydney FC defender Steve Laurie but Laurie has commitments to Altona Magic in the VPL playoffs for at least another fortnight.
