Notts County boss Craig Short expects the FA to take action after a shocking post-match brawl at Peterborough.

Ben Davies scored twice and Craig Westcarr grabbed the third while Gaby Zakuani and Craig Mackail-Smith replied for Posh as the Magpies won 3-2 on Tuesday night.

Grant McCann and Ricky Ravenhill were sent off as both teams finished with 10 men and tempers flared after the final whistle.

Short said: "We picked up our best result of the season but unfortunately the headlines will concentrate on what happened after the final whistle.

"Both clubs are bound to be reprimanded for what took place. I was on the pitch waiting to congratulate my players when things just kicked off."
