North Queensland Fury set to sign Sydney FC’s Casey

Sydney FC midfielder Adam Casey is set to sign for North Queensland Fury it has been reported.

The 24-year old is close to having a deal finalised according to current Fury football operations manager and former Sky Blues teammate Robbie Middleby.

''I'm working overtime to get the deal done,'' Middleby told the Townsville Bulletin.

Casey joined Sydney in 2001 from New Zealand Knights after beginning his career in Townsville and Canberra where he grew up.

He has represented Australia at both U17 and U23 levels.
