North Queensland Fury’s Straka free to take his place on bench tomorrow night
Submitted by Andrew Slevison on Wed, 10/13/2010 - 21:11
North Queensland Fury coach Franz Straka is free to coach the club in tomorrow night’s home clash with Perth Glory.
The Czech tactician was suspended for one match earlier this week for breaching the national code of conduct when he placed his hands on fourth official Kris Griffiths-Jones in last weekend’s loss to Central Coast Mariners at Bluetongue Stadium.
The Townsville club decided to appeal Football Federation Australia’s decision, and although a final decision on his one-match ban will not be made until further written submissions are made, he will be free to coach in the Dairy Farmers Stadium Week 10 fixture against the Glory.
