North Queensland Fury boss Ferguson on McBreen exit: We move on

North Queensland coach Ian Ferguson says Danny McBreen's move to Perth Glory is a part of football.

McBreen, a popular character inside the Fury dressing room, joins the Glory in a swap deal for Jimmy Downey.

''The boys know that's football, that's what happens, sometimes people come, sometimes people go and you have just got to move on and we move on to the next stage,'' Ferguson told the Townsville Bulletin.

''Our next stage is obviously looking for some people for next year - the opportunity came and hopefully we get a good look at Jimmy and we'll see how he is.''
