Patrick Vieira says he will lead Manchester City to the top four.
Vieira helped City to within goal difference of overhauling fourth-placed Liverpool with victory over Bolton Wanderers.
Vieira said: "The top four is our target and I really believe we are strong enough to finish there.
"There is a long way to go and some big games coming up but we just need to win them and see where we can get to in the Champions League race.
"It's the first time I've played 90 minutes for quite a while.
"But I enjoyed it and, when you have quality players around you, it is much easier. It was important we came back with a win after the defeat at Hull."
