Euan Holden is set to step straight into Danish second tier club Vejle BK’s first team according to manager Mats Gren.
The 22-year old defender, who was drafted by MLS outfit Houston Dynamo last month but opted to sign a one-year deal with the Danes, will play in a mid-season friendly against top flighters FC Midtjylland on Friday.
“Yes, he will begin playing games for us on Friday," Gren told Soccer365.
Vejle currently sits eighth on the Denmark First Division table but the addition of Holden, a former New Mexico defender, will hopefully see them push for a promotion spot.
