Bolton boss Coyle: St Johnstone good move for Connolly

Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle was happy to send young defender Mark Connolly on-loan to St Johnstone.
Coyle believes the move will be good for the £1million defender, who arrived earlier this season from Wolves.
“St Johnstone is one of my former clubs and one that I know very well,” he said. “I know that people will look after him and that he’s gone to a club that has got a good infrastructure and doing very well in the Premier League.
“I think that will be the making of him, and I have said to him — similar to what I said to Jay Rodriguez when I was at Burnley — he’ll get regular football at a good standard and then when he returns, make a great push for the first team.”
