New England Revolution has hired former David Beckham Academy director Stephen Myles as an assistant coach.
The 48-year old has joined Steve Nicol’s coaching team and will join the club at pre-season training next week.
Myles served as assistant director of competition at Beckham’s Los Angeles Academy from 2005 and has spent the past two season with the LA Galaxy as coach of the U16 team.
Myles, who enjoyed an extensive playing career in England, replaces Paul Mariner who left his role as Revs assistant to join English Championship club Plymouth Argyle.
