Eintracht Frankfurt have completed the signing of striker Halil Altintop from their German Bundesliga rivals FC Schalke.
The German-born Turkey international will join Eintracht on loan for the remainder of the season and is excited about getting the chance to play regular first team football.
“I can hardly wait to play," Altintop said. "For me it is like a new start given that in the last six months at Schalke I hardly played."
The 27-year old joined Schalke in 2006 after beginning his career with Wattenscheid in 2000 before moving onto Kaiserslautern in 2003.
