Oh but I DO follow them. And I rejoice in their every failing. Of course, Man. Utd don't give me too much joy as they enjoy success now and then. But Manchester City regularly fills me with delight. Even with unlimited funds, they can achieve nothing.
I revel in their failure and seeing their forlorn faces on television. Sometimes, I rewind those scenes over and over, lapping up their utter dejection. I particularly enjoy slow motion replays of the goals that show the arab club's followers' faces at the very moment the ball enters their net. I wish I could actually be there to see them trudging home in the cold with glazed, defeated expressions after the game, but TV is the next best thing.

Sir Cecil, what a sad pathetic little man you are. If you don’t follow either of the Manchester clubs why don’t stick to taking pleasure from following your own team? Or is there not much pleasure in doing that?

What a delicious day's sport! As someone who finds both Manchester clubs repugnant, I was happy to see the lesser of the two evils prevail.
Simply WONDERFUL to see the arab club's followers long faces on TV. Brilliant! I laughed heartily.
The sellout "supporters" who sold their club's rich heritage to a foreign government agency deserved nothing better than failure. I am pleased they reached the semi-final, thus making the taste of defeat even greater, with Wembley snatched from their grasp like Ali Baba and his forty thieves stealing toys from children.
Bravo Sir Alex. Thankyou for putting the heinous club and its hairdresser model manager in their place.

Robinho will not be going to Brazil. They do not have the money, so he will have to pull his finger out and earn his money, if he wants a World Cup spot.
