Real Zaragoza have released Argentine veteran defender Roberto Ayala.
Zaragoza have bid farewell to Ayala, who has reached an agreement with the club to rescind his contract.
Ayala joined Zaragoza in 2007 and played 81 competitive games for them. The 36-year-old former Argentina international counts River Plate, AC Milan and Valencia among his previous employers.
Zaragoza, who are currently in the bottom two of the Primera Division, have also agreed to let Cameroon winger Franck Songo'o join Real Sociedad on loan for the remainder of the season.
