Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has taken a swipe at Italy coach Marcello Lippi.
Mourinho snapped at Lippi, who was criticised by President Massimo Moratti for visiting the Juventus and Milan training grounds, but not Inter.
“Maybe Lippi doesn’t like coming back here because it reminds him of an ill-fated period of his career,” taunted Mourinho.
Lippi resigned from the Nerazzurri one week into his second season, having been in charge from 1999 to 2000 and suffered a shock Champions League preliminary round exit.
