I could care less abt the state of African int'l football. I'm a fan
of the Prem and many of these players. Their safety and that of
the fans and other participants (mgrs, refs, etc) takes priority over
the image of African football. If anything, its the organizers who
scheduled this mess and they should accept the responsibility. There are
plenty of African countries where this couldve been held and
they chose a dangerous place. Its their fault not some poor player, fan, mgr
or ref who're merely concerned for their safety. To say otherwise is beneath
comtempt...

LeRoy Rosenior should speak for himself, not for others. What a scum, to put pressure on individuals by snidely suggesting they will be betraying their country if they decide to leave.
If he wants to make points, let him talk about TEAMS or NATIONS, not individuals.
What wretched cur the man is. Beneath contempt.
