Malouda demands more Chelsea playing time

Actually yes... he should play more, he is an interesting player, when he is used often he delivers and improves his game, we may use the 4-3-3 again and use him as wide striker. I also would like to see Zhirkov more often, he has a lot of talent which is not being used.

i wouldn't like to see malouda go unless we can adequately replace him, Ribery would be ideal but that is far from a certain thing who else?

OK... I actually agree with Florent here (to a degree). Did you ever think I'd say that? His mentality this season and at the end of last has changed dramatically for the better and I actually think he is a little unlucky not to play more. Ancelotti's diamond isn't working. Chelsea play too narrowly and the strikers crave width with decent crosses coming in from the byline.
I criticised Malouda for being too slow and not getting past players on the outside, too often trying to cut in and, of course, other teams realised that and he was sussed every time.
However, he seemed to address that in games I have seen this season.
I still reckon Djorkov is a better bet as a forward winger though. He has more pace and his crosses are brilliant. I have watched him play several times for Russia and he is WORLD CLASS when playing up front.
I know he is also good at left back but his main position is forward so I cannot understand Carlo's logic by using him just at left back. So if Chelsea don't use Djorkov forward then they should use Florent.
