Thanks Graeme. But I wouldn't have a go at the Daily Mail. The story has come via the Russian press. And who's to say with Zenit's spending power that they wouldn't at least try to convince Spurs to sell with a big offer? The money in Russian and Ukraine football is incredible.
Crouch isn't the type of fella who would leave for money, he is about success and wants to lead a club composed of hungry players and fans in the search for honours. He is happy here, and is getting first team football and is playing well. I doubt Capello would want him playing there, and he has a good international goal record and i presume he would like to maintain that AND his chances of playing in the world cup. Complete and utter nonsense, he is going no where!
It isn´t the site that is at fault - all it is doing is report on what is said in newspapers - in this case the Daily Mail. If you all want to complain then complain to them. As for the accuracy of the original I do agree - why would Crouch want to move to the frozen wastes when he is settled and playing at Spurs with a ticket to South Africa up for grabs? If anyone is at fault it is the Daily Mail.
Come on, let's be serious here. At least put in your own opinion within this article because this doesn't sound realistic. You just have to look at ALL English players who play outside the Premiership and you can see this won't happen. Other reasoning is: One, Crouch is starter and there is no one at the club who will dislodge him, Pavlyuchenko? Two, the Russian season runs from March to November and in a World Cup year he won't risk it.
The only thing I see happening with Zenit St. Petersburg is Pavlyuchenko going possibly going there.
GAY
Great let him go an very average player who can not head a ball even being 6ft 7" and gets pushed of aball easily so has vey little chance holding the ball up,anything above 10 million snap their hands off, long ball spurs no thanks
lol yeah Crouch will leave England to play for a Russian team in the cold ass weather...RIGHTTTTTT!! I know England is cold, but it aint a snow infested like Russia and who would play for a crappy league like Russia? nobody thats why everyone like Pavluychenko and Arshavin came to the Premier League no-one likes it there.
Before you post rubbish like this atleast think of the bases. Well you have to have something new other than linking us to Ruud Van Nistlerooy for the last 3 years
Nothing wrong with window-shopping...
Hi-Tower is going nowhere.

Take Him! Please! Leave us with the Pavster!
you heard it here first!
